On Sunday, Democrats broke the news that the economy has had a $2,6 Billion gain after adding an hour to the day on Sunday. President Joe Biden exuberantly announced that, “the tireless efforts of this administration and Democrats in congress have resulted in getting an additional hour today. In that hour alone, 156 million hard working Americans were able to earn an additional $2.6 Billion dollars.”
“Wow!” Exclaimed VP Kamala Harris. “All I can say is wow! I literally don’t know how these guys can put 25 hours into a 24 hour day, but Wow!”
Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortex (D) New York was also happy about the results but expressed disappointment that the effort didn’t go far enough. “While it’s great to get this kind of work out of people, I don’t know why we can’t add an hour to every day,” she said. “Imagine. If all the people could produce $2.6 Billion every day, the taxes alone could fund every social program on the planet with billions to spare.”
