After news broke last week that director Patty Jenkins was backing out of the Wonder Woman 3 sequel, it appeared the franchise was doomed. DC Studios however has come up with a plan to re-invigorate the WW universe. Rumors are swirling that Black trans actor Laverne Cox is on the short list for the lead role. Cox, is best known for work in the Netflix series “Orange Is the New Black”. Upon hearing about the possibility, Cox tweeted, “I’d work my balls off for that role”
DC Studios also recently fired actor Henry Cavill from the Superman series. At this rate, it would be no surprise if Conchita Wurst is being considered for the Young Superman role.
