Iowa voters recently amended their state constitution, appointing senator Chuck Grassley to his U.S. Senate seat for life. The amendment goes a step further in requiring that a “mind clone” of senator Grassley be created so that it can retain the senate seat when his body eventually expires. Jake Chapman, president of the Iowa state senate said, “Grassley, who sits on not one, but five critical committees in the U.S. senate is just too important for Iowans to loose.”
