After losing $6 Billion in market value last week, Target has doubled down on its trans clothing offerings. On Saturday, they announced the launch of Moose Knuckle swimwear. This teen friendly trans swimwear line is a collaboration between Target and outdoor clothing giant North Face. In store ads feature teens wearing various pieces of the new collection. The words “Camel Toe is so 2020. Show off your Moose Knuckle!” are emblazoned on the life-sized cardboard cutouts. Most notably, teen boys are proudly presenting their tucked, taped, or turgid members stuffed in unusual bikini bottoms.
Target Director of Marketing, Allison Schoeneck, cited recent studies showing exponential growth of “nonbinary” identifying teens. “Trans identifying and nonbinary teens have increased from 2% to 9% in the last year alone. That’s 450% growth. We cannot ignore this explosive market sector, and we’re willing to bet the house on it. Target is all in!”
