LA Dodgers will dress in Drag on pride night

In an effort to shore up support of lgbTq÷n, baseball’s largest fanbase, the LA Dodgers will dress in drag for their game on pride night, June 16th. Management botched their first attempt to appease their fanbase when they originally invited the blasphemous Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence drag troupe. Following initial backlash, they un-invited the group. That move raised the ire of radical lgbTq÷n activist groups, and management caved to them, re-inviting the drag troupe and offering a community hero award.

But just re-inviting the dragsters wasn’t enough for Dodger management. They consulted with RuPaul and decided that dressing the entire team, and playing ball in drag would be the ultimate olive branch. General Manager Dave Roberts stated, “Our Christian roots demand that we embrace diversity. The entire team will gladly dress in drag to show community support and begin the healing process after our attack on our lgbTq÷n bretheren.” Pitcher Clayton Kershaw also spoke out. “I will honor the lgbTq÷n community by demonstrating a limp wristed pitching technique I personally learned from RuPaul. I’ll give every player on the opposing team an opportunity to hit that.”
