US toymaker Play Along Toys, maker of Cabbage Patch Kids, has been cancelled for digital blackface. The Twitterverse erupted when an image of one of the dolls appeared online, apparently mocking the White House Press Secretary. Karine Jean-Pierre stated in her Thursday press conference, “I’m not an empty-headed doll. This kind of mockery should not be tolerated and Play Along Toys should be put out of business.”
