Transplaining, the latest tactic of far-right extremists

Far right extremists have been pulling out all the stops lately to counter the Trans movement. Transplaining is their latest tactic. You may be wondering, exactly what is transplaining? It’s not, as you might assume, a trans person trying to explain trans culture. Rather it is the practice by far-right extremists to condescendingly denigrate trans culture through logic and reason.

By invoking the systemically transphobic and barbaric practice of logical argument, privileged cis white males are attempting to crush the trans movement. “Logic and reason are tools of the cultural power structure,” said Whoppie Goldberg, populist commentator on cultural issues. “We can’t have smart white guys telling us that our feelings don’t matter as much as facts. It’s total bull$h!t.” Goldberg continued, “comparing someone wanting to change their sex to someone who wants to blind themselves is false logic. The number of people trying to blind themselves is miniscule compared to the number of trans people. it doesn’t even count.”

Other logical arguments include: examples of people who are “de-transitioning“; the false claim that some hormone therapies equate to chemical castration; that children aren’t allowed to get tattoos, but can have their genetiles cut off. The list goes on and on. Logic is a relic of the past and should not be relied upon to explain transplain anything to anyone. Anyone who presents a logical argument against trans culture is a transphobic bigot. Their arguments are simply thinly veiled attempts to mask their own desire to dabble in the taboo.
